When looking at "Today" I have a monthly Balance of "-17" hours.

We are 5 days into the month and I have estimated 7.5 hours of work per day = 37.5 total hours should have been logged.

I have only logged 30 hours.

37.5  minus 30 = -7.5

My monthly balance should be -7.5.

Possible Hrs: 37.5 hours

Logged Hours: 30 hours

Hrs I need to make up for: 7.5 hours

Okay, I see.

Monthly Balance does not take the project into account but the setting "Working day length" the Account.

My daily balance is not set to 7.4 hours per day.

However: Could you atleast fix it so when you enter a new day you aren't thrown back 7.4 hours? It should dynamically update from hour to hour. I cannot possible work in the future, so you shouldn't substract future hours from me.

We did it on purpose for our own employees. This way you can see how much time you should work today to "close" the day.

You really need time balance setting only if you HAVE to work a certain amount of time daily.

Okay, that makes sense.

Thanks for taking the time to explain the mechanics and thoughts behind the feature.
