Desktop App prompts me to connect every day

Hi

I really like the TMetric application but it is getting a little frustrating.

Many times when I start my computer the TMetric Desktop App 'Connect to TMetric Service' window appears prompting me to re-enter my email address and password.  Other times it will remember my details and connect automatically.

Why does it 'forget' my connection details and keep prompting me to re-enter them?

Please help.

Hi Andy,

When you login, the desktop application receives an access token from the server. The token is valid for 14 days. It does not save the password for security reasons. That's why it prompts you for the password.

Actually, we plan to alter the authorization process so that you don't have to re-enter the password.

Thanks for the prompt reply.  It's definitely happening more frequently than every 14 days - probably every 3 or 4 days at the moment.

It's good to know you are planning to change the authorisation process.  I look forward to that.
