I am testing out Tmetric in combination with Gitlab. When I start the timer from Gitlab, my time entry is conveniently linked with the specific issue I'm working on. Is it possible to link a time entry created manually from the Add Time Entry button to an issue?

It is possible after you start a timer for the issue at least once. The issue will be in the list of recent tasks.

All right, just to make sure I understand you correctly: When I have started a timer from Gitlab, I can continue on this from TMetric by clicking the play button next to that task on the Time-page. But it is not possible to link a manual entry (from the "Add Time Entry"-button) to the issue number?

It's impossible for an issue that you've never tracked. Once it's "in the system" you can click Add Time Entry and select th issue within the time entry editor.

Ah, now I understand. I did not realize the three lines next to the description was a button. Thanks!
