My 15 inch laptop has a 4k monitor and usually I either set my desktop environment to scale windows or I do it on a per application basis.

For QT and GTK UI apps I use some environtment variables to set the scale, for example, for GTK UI apps, GDK_SCALE=1.5 and GDK_DPI_SCALE=1.5, for QT UI apps, QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=1.

So, either the linux client app is not using either GTK or QT, or it's completely ignoring those environment variables, thus making the use of the application on the desktop close to unusable.

Desktop client is built with Lazarus and the version 2 of GTK+. Unfortunately, this version does not support scaling of UI elements.
