In TMetric, access to the Costs column in reports depends on the user’s role in the workspace. This article explains who can view costs and where they appear.
Role-based access to Costs:
Workspace Owner – has full access and can see Costs in all reports.
Admin (regular) – cannot see Billable or Costs in reports.
Admin (with extended permissions) – has full access, including Costs.
Project Manager – can view reports only for their own projects, but without Billable and Costs.
Team Lead – can review their team’s work, but Costs remain hidden.
Team Member – can only see their own data; Costs are not available.
Client User – cannot access Team Summary and does not see rates or Costs.

- Team Summary report
- Projects Summary report
Who can manage cost rates
Only the Workspace Owner and a designated Admin can view and edit cost rates used for payroll.
