If screenshots are not being recorded for your team members in TMetric, there are a few key settings and permissions to verify. Follow the steps below to ensure everything is configured correctly.
1. Ensure Screenshot Capturing is Enabled in Workspace Settings
1. Go to your Workspace and click Settings.
2. Open the Activity and Screenshots tab.
3. Under Activity and Screenshots Capture, make sure the Screenshots option is enabled for the specific team members.
If this setting is disabled for a user, their screenshots will not be captured or displayed.
2. Check User Permissions
Make sure your account has the correct permissions to view activity data:
- Workspace Owners, Admins, and Team Leads have access to view user activity and screenshots.
If you're not seeing the screenshots, you may not have sufficient permissions.
3. Verify TMetric Desktop App is Installed and Running
Screenshots can only be captured if the TMetric Desktop app is installed and actively running on the user's device.
Ask the team member to confirm that the TMetric Desktop client is running. They should also check their desktop app settings to ensure:
- Activity Tracking is enabled.
- Screenshot Capturing is enabled.
Screenshots are only recorded during active time tracking sessions when the desktop client is running.
