Please consider adding an expandable and searchable Task selector in the Time Entry editor that displays all tasks associated with the selected project. Ideally, this would function similarly to the Tags selector that is currently available in the Time Entry editor.
Currently, it’s difficult to ensure consistent time logging when users have to manually type in task names or rely on limited recent-task drop down. A Task selector that displays all tasks associated with the selected project dropdown would:
Reduce task entry errors (misspellings or mismatches)
Improve time entry speed and usability
Make task-based reporting more reliable across teams
Ideally, the dropdown would support:
Auto-complete and search-as-you-type behavior
Task grouping or filtering (e.g., by Worktype or custom label)
Visibility of all tasks tied to the selected project
This would bring task selection in line with the structured approach already supported for Clients, Projects, and Worktypes.
