Overtime

Overtime

If our employees work more hours than contractually agreed, they are compensated for these overtime hours in time off.
The following problems exist when tracking, analysing and settling overtime:
- Although I can see the plus or minus hours using the ‘Team Summary’ function, I always have to set a time range. If I want to see how much overtime has been worked in total, I always have to find out how long this colleague has been using tmetric.
If an employee wants to reduce his overtime, he submits a time off request. This request must be approved. Now tmetric considers the requested overtime as vacation days and does not deduct them from the total hours. Example: Employee X has 28 hours of overtime. He wants to take a day off and requests 8 hours. According to our idea, there should now be only 20 hours left in his time balance. However, this is not the case, because the system thinks it is vacation, which is not deducted from the hours.
-There is no possibility to limit overtime. So that a maximus amount of overtime is permitted in a period of time and from the moment it is exceeded a notification is issued an these additional hours have to be authorised or added.
