How to Generate Reports for Inactive or Blocked Users

In TMetric, users who are inactive or blocked (also referred to as locked) are hidden from report filters by default to keep your workspace organized. However, if these users had activity during a selected time period, their data can still be included in reports — you just need to follow a specific process.

Steps to Include Locked Users in Reports:

1. Select the Appropriate Time Frame

Before generating a report, make sure to select a time range during which the user in question was active.

This step is crucial. The system includes users in reports based on whether they had activity during the selected time frame — not based on their current status.

2. Generate the Report

Once the time frame is set:

- Go to the desired report (e.g., Time, Activity, Projects).

- Run the report as usual.

TMetric will automatically include any users who recorded time or had activity during that period — including those who are now inactive or blocked.

3. Review the Report

After the report is generated, scroll through the results to find the relevant data for inactive or blocked users. If they had any time entries or activity during the selected period, their records will appear in the report.
