Enhance User Experience by Making the TMetric Web App a Progressive Web App (PWA)

I am requesting that the TMetric web application be made installable as a Progressive Web App (PWA). This would provide users with a more comprehensive and robust experience than the current desktop client, bridging the feature gap between the web app and the installed clients.


While TMetric offers a desktop client for Windows, macOS, and Linux, it currently provides only a subset of the features available in the full web application. The desktop app is primarily focused on time tracking, activity monitoring, and a few basic functions, leaving out crucial features like:

  1. Team Timesheets: The ability to review and manage timesheets for an entire team.
  2. Detailed Reporting: The extensive, customizable reports that allow for in-depth analysis of project time, costs, and team performance.
  3. Billing & Invoicing: The full suite of tools for managing client billing, setting rates, and generating invoices.
  4. PTO (Paid Time Off) Tracking: The system for managing and approving employee time off.
  5. Scheduling: The functionality for planning and optimizing team schedules.
This feature disparity forces users to constantly switch between the installed desktop app for basic time tracking and the web app for any administrative, reporting, or financial tasks. This creates a fragmented and inefficient workflow.
